Dr. Ted Thomas is a native of Washington D.C. and has practiced in the Silver Spring area since 1990. He obtained his Bachelors of Science in Biology from the University of South Carolina in 1984, and his doctorate of Dental Medicine from the Medical University of South Carolina School of Dentistry in 1988. He shares a strong commitment to education and organized dentistry. Dr. Thomas is a member of the American Dental Association, Maryland State Dental Association and Southern Maryland Dental Society. He has served the Society in many capacities, including president in 2001. The Society is the largest dental component in Maryland. It is comprised of over 800 dentist from Montgomery and Prince Georges Counties who are committed the values and standards of the American Dental Association. Service to his country also continues to have a place in the life of Dr. Thomas. He is currently the Chief of Dental Programs for the Air Force Reserve Command with over 23 years of service. Dr. Thomas lives in Seabrook Maryland with his wife and their 3 children. His hobbies include golf, biking, chess, and genealogy research. |
