Dr. Ted Thomas is a native of Washington D.C. and has practiced in the Silver Spring area of Maryland since 1990 with a dedicated and diverse staff. He obtained his Bachelors of Science in Biology from the University of South Carolina in 1984, and his doctorate of Dental Medicine from the Medical University of South Carolina School of Dentistry in 1988.
He shares a strong commitment to education and organized dentistry. Dr. Thomas is a member of the American Dental Association, Maryland State Dental Association and Southern Maryland Dental Society. He has served the Society in many capacities, including president in 2001. The Society is the largest dental component in Maryland. It is comprised of over 800 dentists from Montgomery and Prince Georges Counties who are committed the values and standards of the American Dental Association.
Service to his country also has a place in the life of Dr. Thomas. He has recently celebrated his retirement from the Air Force Reserve on April 1, 2010 with 26 years of service. Dr. Thomas currently resides in Seabrook Maryland with his wife and their 3 children. His hobbies include golf, chess, and genealogy research.
